The Hidden Agenda is a bi-monthly underground dining experience for those in search of something different. I like to think of the gatherings as “food raves.” A wandering intimate “bootleg restaurant” featuring multi course tasting menus, housed in apartments, houses and other private spaces, where you get to dine with other fellow foodies, at locations that are unknown until the entrance fee has been paid.
Unlike traditional restaurants, I encourage you to meet and talk to your fellow diners. Raise your glass, of perfectly paired wine and share a forkful of goodness prepared from my heart. I’m not in this for the money or the huge crowds; instead, I love it for the community, the creative freedom, and the opportunity to bring my decadent creations to people who appreciate it, in unique settings. Since menus and locations are one-night only affairs, each evening is a once in a lifetime experience. The last 3 dinners have sold out completely, so be sure to get your tickets early.
At this time we are not providing accommodations for vegetarians, vegans, pescatarians, non-porkatarians, or those with wheat gluten or lactose allergies.
I’ve been hosting Underground Dinners for the last few years and love the intimacy of them. Previous menu themes have included an All Duck Dinner, Southwestern French Cuisine, an All Lobster Dinner and Spanish Tapas. A few months ago, we did The Bacon Affair, with 6 different bacon infused courses with everything from my homemade Bacon Vodka that we used in our Bacon Cantaloupe Martinis, to a Heirloom Tomato Stack with Bacon Marmalade and Blue Cheese Dressing, to a Caramelized Bacon Maple Bread Pudding with Candied Bacon Sprinkles for dessert. Here’s what one of the guests said about the evening..
”The Bacon Affair! was definitely an affair to remember. The food -- including all 10 kinds of bacon -- was a delightful revelation, and the venue was remarkable. Enjoyed all the people I met, too. I can't stop talking about the amazing night. I'm hooked!”

“Chef Amy Jurist threw an underground dinner that has no rivals. It was purely the bomb.” Posted on Ghetto Gourmet from a guest at our Pan Asian Dinner
